Highlights: Gopher Men's Basketball Overcomes 17-Point Deficit to Defeat UCLA

Dawson Garcia scored 27 points in the second half to finish with a season-high 32 points and eight rebounds, his third 30-point game this season, and Minnesota (14-12, 6-9 Big Ten) rallied from a 17-point first-half deficit to record a 64-61 win over UCLA (19-8, 10-6 B1G) at Pauley Pavilion.

Minnesota is just the second team to defeat the Bruins at Pauley Pavilion this season, and the Gophers are just the second Big Ten team to travel to Los Angeles and sweep both USC and UCLA. Michigan is the only other team to record wins at both USC and UCLA.

  1. The one thing great about adding pac 12 teams . It exposes the University of Minnesota to highly touted kids that may upgrade our recruiting base . Im know expert but I think playing in LA may draw some attention to kids who may have never heard of the U of M . A little easier to recruit I would think . Same with adding Rutgers and Maryland out east . Great exposure for a fly over state like Minnesota I would think anyway
