FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men’s basketball program added junior college transfer Trevian Carson of Des Moines, Iowa, to its 2025 recruiting class, head coach David Richman announced Friday.
Carson is a 6-foot-4 guard who played two seasons at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) from 2023-25. He was named the ICCAC Player of the Year and a first-team NJCAA All-American this season.
“Trevian is a tough, versatile guard who can impact winning in multiple ways,” said Richman. “His character and experience will add to our program immediately, and we’re excited to add him to the Bison Family.”
Carson averaged 14.9 points and 7.8 rebounds as a sophomore this year, shooting 58 percent overall and 39 percent from three-point range. He also posted 3.6 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game.
Carson led DMACC to a 29-5 record and a berth in the national tournament. He was top 10 in the conference in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals this season.
