FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University athletic department is excited to announce details surrounding the NDSU Football Green and Gold Spring Showcase, presented by Gate City Bank. The showcase is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome with live coverage available on Bison 1660 and WDAY Xtra.
Details surrounding the Spring Showcase include, but are not limited to:
Parking/Tailgating
Parking for the Spring Showcase will be FREE and fans are encouraged to park in lots B and C on the east side of the Fargodome. Due to the event taking place on a Friday evening, tailgating will NOT be allowed.
Entrance/Admission
Fans attending the Spring Showcase may enter through the main lobby on the east side of the Fargodome. The seating area will open at 4:30 p.m. Admission is free, no tickets are required, and all seating will be general admission on the east (home) side.
Locker Room Sale
NDSU Athletics will be hosting a locker room sale in Fargodome conference rooms 203 and 204 starting at 2 p.m. Friday. Fans may enter the east lobby of the Fargodome and take the escalator, elevator or stairs to the second level where the sale will take place. The sale will end at approximately 7 p.m. Friday.
With NDSU’s upcoming apparel partnership with Under Armour starting in July, a larger quantity of athletic apparel will be available to the general public for purchase including team-issued shirts, shorts, shoes, travel gear and uniforms.
While on the second floor, fans are encouraged to stop by the newly renovated Sunderland Family Football Office Complex. Thanks to generous funding by Gate City Bank, the upgraded entrance includes a display for all 18 national championship trophies that are available for viewing and photo opportunities even when the football offices are closed.
Concourse Activities
On the concourse, fans will be able to make signs, get giveaways from Gate City Bank, and visit the NDSU Bookstore and other partners of NDSU Athletics. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Leading up to the Spring Showcase and on the concourse that evening, NDSU Athletics will be hosting an online auction for a limited number of items. These items and opportunities are unique one-of-one types and include, but are not limited to, a commemorative football autographed by the 2024 national championship football team, a chance to call plays during the Spring Showcase, and hand-painted NDSU Bison artwork painted by world record holder Jessica K. Haas during the February 28th NDSU women’s basketball game. Additional details regarding the auction items and how to bid will be released soon.
NDSU Football Green and Gold Spring Showcase, presented by Gate City Bank
The Spring Showcase will be a culmination of the 15-practice spring season for the Bison in preparation for the fall. Similar to last year, the Spring Showcase will look different than the traditional “Spring Game” with more of a focus on the situational moments rather than routine play.
The Spring Showcase will begin with a ring ceremony at 5:30 p.m. when the team will receive their rings for winning the 2024 NCAA Division I Football Championship, the 10th FCS title in NDSU football history.
Throughout the remainder of the event, different real-game scenarios will be ran to present challenges and learning on offense, defense and special teams. Fans will be able to enjoy live mic’d up moments with head coach Tim Polasek, on-field commentary and player, coach and alumni interviews from an emcee, and the opportunity to get the first look at our 2025 NDSU Bison football team. The offense will be wearing gold, defense in green, and quarterbacks in white.
