SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota State men’s track & field team had four student-athletes voted to The Summit League’s Academic All-League team for the 2025 indoor season.
Paul Olson, Brock Johnsen, Jacob Van Dusseldorp, and Trey Heinrich all earned the honor by virtue of their athletic and academic achievements.
Olson (Oxbow, N.D.) owns a 4.0 cumulative GPA with a major in management information systems. He won the Summit League heptathlon title and ranked 56th in the NCAA for the heptathlon for the 2025 indoor season.
Johnsen (Bismarck, N.D.) is a finance major with a 3.86 GPA. He ranked 61st in the NCAA for the 60m hurdles this year, and tied for the second-fastest 60m hurdles time in the league at 7.81.
Van Dusseldorp (Watertown, S.D.) earned a degree in business administration and now owns a 4.0 GPA toward his MBA. He placed fifth in the pole vault at the Summit League Indoor Championships.
Heinrich (Kindred, N.D.) is majoring in biological sciences and owns a 3.93 GPA. He ranked 68th in the NCAA for the 60m hurdles this season, and posted the fourth-fastest time in the league.
To be eligible for The Summit League Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team’s competitions. The award is voted on by the institutions’ faculty athletic representatives and sports information directors.
