FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State women’s basketball head coach Jory Collins has announced the addition of Jocelyn Schiller to the 2025 signing class.
Schiller joins the Bison after spending last season at North Dakota and was named the 2024-25 Summit League Freshman of the Year.
“We couldn’t be more excited to add Jocelyn Schiller to our program,” said Collins. “She had a fantastic freshman campaign earning Summit League Freshman of the Year. Her competitiveness, toughness, work ethic, and winning attributes are things we’ve admired about her for a long time. Jocelyn will be a tremendous fit in our locker room and on our team. We’re very fortunate to have her continue to represent the great state of North Dakota as a Bison.”
Schiller, who was also named to the All-Summit League Freshman Team, averaged 13.2 points with 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in her freshman season with the Fighting Hawks. She started all 31 games and led all freshmen in the Summit League with a team-high 89 assists and team-best 40 steals. The Grand Forks, N.D. native reached double figures in scoring in 23 of 31 games, including a stretch of 17 straight games. Schiller also averaged 16.3 points per game in Summit League play, which led all freshmen.
Schiller joins Karrington Asp, Sophie Hawkinson and McKenna Johnson in the 2025 signing class.
NDSU reached the 20-win mark the for the second straight season with a 21-11 overall record and advanced to the Great 8 round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) for the first time in program history this season.
