Moni Named Finalist for Riley Wallace Award

North Dakota State senior Jacksen Moni has been named a finalist for the Riley Wallace Award, which is presented annually by CollegeInsider.com to the top transfer in Division I men’s basketball.

Moni ranks seventh nationally in scoring this season. He was voted to the All-Summit League first team, leading the league in scoring with 22.3 points per game in conference play. The Fargo native was the only player to rank in The Summit League’s top six for points, rebounds, assists and field goal percentage this year.

The award is named in honor of longtime Hawaii coach Riley Wallace. During his coaching career at Hawaii, Wallace welcomed many transfers into the program and became the winningest coach in program history.

The Riley Wallace Award voting panel is made up of current Division I coaches, athletic administrators, and senior College Insider staff members.  The recipient of the 2024-25 award will be announced in April, in San Antonio, Texas – site of the men’s Final Four.
