SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State softball’s Rylee Henderson has been named the Kwik Star Summit League Softball Peak Performer of the Week, announced the league office Monday afternoon.
Henderson led the Bison to a 3-1 weekend at the Lion Classic in Commerce, Texas, hitting .818 over four games. Henderson was 9-for-11 at the plate, along with two walks and a hit by pitch, posting a .857 on base percentage.
The infielder had three extra-base hits, slugging 1.091 and had four RBI and two runs scored. In the field, Henderson was perfect from the third base corner, recording two putouts and 10 assists for a perfect fielding percentage.
It is the first Summit League Peak Performer honor for Henderson in her career and the first for the Bison this season. The last Bison Peak Performer honors came when Bella Dean and Madison Wihlm swept the honors on March 4, last season.
