Amaya Battle reached 1,000 career points to lead the Minnesota women’s basketball team (19-6, 7-6 B1G) over the Indiana Hoosiers (15-8, 7-5 B1G) 66-56 at home on Sunday afternoon.
The Golden Gophers had three players score in double figures, led by Battle, who had 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Sophie Hart added 14 points and eight rebounds and Heyer helped out with her third double-double this season, collecting 10 points and 13 rebounds.
