COLUMBIA, Mo. – The North Dakota State men’s track & field team concluded competition at Missouri’s Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational on Saturday, with the Bison men sweeping the top three places in the 60m hurdles to headline the day’s efforts.
NDSU senior Brock Johnsen claimed the 60m hurdles title in a time of 7.95, matching his personal-best established earlier this season. Sophomore Trey Heinrich took second place in 8.02, and redshirt freshman Brooks Turner finished third in 8.04.
Competing unattached, Zach McGlynn scored a career-best 5,733 points in the heptathlon, which would stand as the second-best score in NDSU history. Bryce Enerson topped the 5,000-point mark in the heptathlon for the third time in his career, scoring 5,030.
Andrew Berg and Paul Olson both cleared 6-8 (2.03m) in the high jump to tie for second place.
Sophomore Adam Dugger placed fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 49-01.75 (14.98m). Freshman Reece Grosserode jumped 48-11.75 (14.93m) for sixth in the meet.
Sophomore Jayden Williams took sixth in the 60m dash with a time of 6.88, and Logan Mathieu was ninth in 6.94.
Zack Ramos posted a shot put season-best of 56-10 (17.32m) for eighth place.
Blake Boyster ran an indoor 400m dash personal-best of 49.14 to lead the Bison men in the event.
