SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Senior forward Abbie Draper has been named the Kwik Star Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week for the first time in her career, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Draper helped the Bison (14-6, 6-1 Summit) to a pair of wins over South Dakota and North Dakota last week after averaging a team-high 20.5 points to go along with a team-best 10.5 rebounds per game. The Waverly, Iowa native shot 60.0 percent from the field and added four assists, three blocks and one steal to her stat line.
Draper helped lift the Bison to a 72-53 win at South Dakota with a career-high 29 points on 12-of-16 shooting from the field over 30 minutes of action. She also hauled in 12 rebounds with one assist and one block. It marked her second double-double of the season and third of her career. Draper closed out the week with 12 points and a game-best nine rebounds in the 70-66 win over North Dakota.

The Bison, who are 8-2 over their last 10 games, travel to South Dakota State on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
