Bison vs. North Dakota Saturday

The Game: The North Dakota State men’s basketball team will host North Dakota on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 4 p.m. as part of a doubleheader at the Scheels Center.

Where to Watch: The game will be broadcast on WDAY Xtra locally and available to subscribers of the Summit League Network through the Midco Sports Plus app.
 
Radio: Andy Rieckhoff (play-by-play) and Dexter Werner (analyst) will call the game on 107.9 The Fox and Bison 1660. Broadcasts can also be streamed on the NDSU Athletics app, as well as at GoBison.com/AllAccess for free.
 
Against North Dakota: Saturday will be the 310th meeting between NDSU and UND, with UND leading the all-time series, 164-145.
          The Bison lead 17-7 over 24 meetings in the Division I era, and NDSU has won 11 of the past 14 games against the Fighting Hawks.
 
Radio Show on Location: The Bison Basketball Radio Show with NDSU men’s basketball head coach David Richman and women’s basketball head coach Jory Collins will broadcast live on Bison 1660 from the Holiday Inn Fargo each Monday for the rest of the season from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Fans are invited to attend in-person and submit questions for the show as hosts Sam Neidermann and Andy Rieckhoff break down the week of Bison basketball and preview the upcoming games.
 
UND Doubleheader Promos: NDSU will host North Dakota for a doubleheader on Saturday with the women playing at 1 p.m. and the men following at 4 p.m. One ticket gets fans into both games and can be purchased here. Fans are encouraged to wear gold. The Fairly Odd Dogs will perform their frisbee act at both games during halftime.
 
Long Range Attack: The Bison rank second in the country with 12.1 three-pointers made per game. NDSU is also second nationally in three-point percentage at 41.1 percent this season.
 
High Efficiency: The Bison are ranked second nationally in effective field goal percentage at 59.5 percent, according to KenPom.com.
 
6-10 Guy Leads in Assists: Jacksen Moni led The Summit League with 3.8 assists per game in non-conference play. He is one of only three players in the nation 6-10 or taller to average more than four assists per game this season, joining Coleman Hawkins of Kansas State and Robbie Avila of Saint Louis.
 
The Bombs Away Bison™: NDSU is attempting three-pointers at the highest rate in Division I this season. According to KenPom, 54 percent of NDSU’s shots attempted this year have been three-pointers – the highest percentage in the nation.
          45.8 percent of NDSU’s scoring this season has come from three-pointers — the largest share in the nation.
 
Steady Barrage: The Bison have made double digit three-pointers in 13 of the last 15 games. In the other two games, the Bison sank nine three-pointers.
 
First Career Double-Double: Noah Feddersen recorded his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds in NDSU’s road win over South Dakota on Jan. 18.

• Jacksen Moni is averaging 21.6 points and shooting 90 percent at the free throw line.
• Masen Miller is averaging 14.8 points and shooting 53 percent from beyond the arc.
• Noah Feddersen is averaging 13.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, and shooting 69 percent overall.

New High Score: NDSU’s 110 points scored at Oral Roberts on Jan. 9 were the most ever scored by the Bison in regulation against a Division I opponent.
 
Mile High Lockdown: NDSU allowed just 50 points in the win at Denver on Jan. 11, matching its second-lowest total allowed against a Summit League opponent in the last three seasons.
 
Noah’s Big Week: Noah Feddersen stood out in NDSU’s road sweep of Oral Roberts and Denver on Jan. 9-11, averaging 17.5 points in the two victories. Including his career-high 21-point performance at ORU, Feddersen shot 12-for-13 on the road trip. He added nine rebounds and sank three three-pointers at Denver.
