NDSU Women’s Golf Selected Second in Summit League Preseason Poll

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State women’s golf was picked to finish in second place in the 2025 Summit League Preseason Poll, announced by the league office on Thursday. Senior Elise Hoven was also named to the Golfers to Watch list.

Denver earned the top spot with 49 points and seven of the eight available first-place votes. The Bison were just behind in second, with 41 points and one first-place vote. Oral Roberts closed out the top three with 38 points.

Hoven was recognized on the Summit League Women’s Golfers to Watch list after carding four top-15 finishes in five tournaments, including a tie for first at the NDSU Invitational earlier this season. The Grafton, Wis., native also recorded a career-low score of 140 in the 36-hole Eagle Invitational this past fall.

The Bison will be back in action at the Mountain Classic Match Play in Palm Desert, Calif., on Feb. 10-12.
