FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men’s basketball team earned a 71-64 victory over Kansas City on Thursday evening inside the Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.
The Bison improved to 14-6 overall and 3-2 in The Summit League.
Senior Jacksen Moni led the Bison with 24 points and eight rebounds. Masen Miller and Jacari White both scored 12 points and recorded three steals for NDSU.
NDSU built a 12-point lead in the first half, but trailed 35-34 at halftime. The Bison took the lead back at 51-50 on a three-pointer by White with 10:50 remaining, and NDSU led the rest of the way.
The Bison shot 44 percent for the game and 35 percent from beyond the arc. Kansas City shot 36 percent overall and went 14-of-40 (35 percent) from three-point range.
NDSU freshman Andy Stefonowicz dished out three assists, improving his season assist-to-turnover ratio to 5-to-1.
NDSU plays at South Dakota on Saturday at 2 p.m.
