This will be Zach Charbonnet’s first time as captain this season, after filling is the as starting running back, for an injured Kenneth Walker III the past two weeks. In that time Charbonnet has rushed for 188 yards, with three touchdowns as well as 62 yards receiving.
Both Geno Smith and Coby Bryant have been captains earlier this season. Smith has been named a captain five times and Bryant twice before this week.
