SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State forward Jacksen Moni earned the latest Summit League Men’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor, league officials announced Monday. Moni averaged 20.0 points to lead the Bison to a pair of wins in the Big Sky-Summit Challenge last week.
In NDSU’s 77-73 win at Weber State, Moni led all scorers with 22 points and capped a game-opening 10-0 run by the Bison with his first of four 3-pointers against the Wildcats. He finished 8-for-12 from the field and 4-for-5 from beyond the arc, while adding three assists and two rebounds.
In the 82-70 home victory over Northern Colorado, Moni added 18 points with 12 of those coming after halftime. Moni chipped in seven rebounds and four assists, while going 6-for-9 from the field.
