The final match of the day came at heavyweight and top-ranked Gable Steveson made quick work of No. 28 Luke Rasmussen. Steveson needed just 2:25 to post a 19-4 tech fall over Rasmussen, using five takedowns plus four nearfall points after the fourth takedown to improve to 3-0 on the year. It was Steveson’s 55th straight win (fourth longest in program history) and improved his record to 88-2 all-time.
