FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State baseball and head coach Tyler Oakes have announced the upcoming 2025 schedule.
The Bison are scheduled to play 52 total games with 15 home games at Newman Outdoor Field. NDSU will also face nine different opponents across 22 total non-conference games. Of that group, five teams qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season, including Dallas Baptist, Alabama, LSU, Tulane and Oklahoma State.
NDSU will open the season with an eight-game road swing in Texas beginning with Dallas Baptist on Feb. 14-16. The Patriots finished last season with a 45-15 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The Bison will close the trip with two games at Lamar on Feb. 18-19 and a three-game series at UTRGV on Feb. 21-23.
NDSU, who will play its first 24 straight games away from home, then travels to Alabama for a three-game series on Feb. 28-March 2. It will mark the first-ever meeting between the Bison and the Crimson Tide. The Bison will take on LSU in Baton Rouge for a two-game set on March 4-5. The Bison have now faced a Southeastern Conference (SEC) opponent each of the last two seasons after traveling to LSU last year. NDSU will close the trip with its first-ever meeting at Tulane with a three-game series on March 7-9.
NDSU travels to Oklahoma for five games and opens Summit League play with a three-game series against Oral Roberts on March 14-16. The Bison close the trip with their first meeting with Oklahoma State since 1982 with two games on March 18-19. The non-conference schedule is also highlighted by two meetings at Creighton for the second straight season on April 8 and April 22. The Bison will also travel to Minnesota on April 15 and April 29.
NDSU will play a 30-game Summit League schedule and opens its home schedule against South Dakota State on March 28-30. The Summit League Tournament is scheduled for May 21-25 in Omaha, Neb., and will be hosted by Omaha at Tal Anderson Field.
