SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the second time this season, senior defensive specialist Logan O’Brien has been named the Summit League Volleyball Defensive Peak Performer of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
O’Brien helped the Bison close out the regular season with a pair of wins over Kansas City and North Dakota. The Fort Myers, Fla., native totaled a team-high 30 digs and averaged a team-best 4.29 digs per set. She finished out the season reaching double digits in six straight matches in digs, including a match-high 20 in the 3-1 win over North Dakota.
NDSU secured the fourth seed in the Summit League Championship and will face fifth-seeded Denver in the first round on Sunday at 3:00 p.m., in Kansas City, Mo.
