The Vikings are “optimistic” that they’ll have WR Jalen Nailor for their Monday night opener vs. the Bears, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Nailor has been working back from a hand injury suffered in mid-August.
What They’re Saying
Fowler: “Minnesota envisions a key role for Nailor, especially with Jordan Addison out via suspension.”

That “key role” doesn’t project to be big enough to make Nailor a viable Week 1 starter in season-long fantasy leagues, especially after Minnesota added WR Adam Thielen. But Nailor will be worth a look in one-game DFS contests after scoring six times on 28 receptions last year.
His availability is also good news for QB J.J. McCarthy, who will also have healthy Justin Jefferson and T.J. Hockenson.
