FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State will open up the home schedule for the 2025 season on Thursday, August 28, as the Bison welcome in Concordia-St. Paul for a non-conference contest at Dacotah Field. Kickoff between the Bison and Golden Bears is set for 6 p.m.

Series History
When the Bison go up against the Golden Bears on Thursday, it will be the first time that Concordia-St. Paul and North Dakota State will meet on the soccer pitch.

August 28th – Getting the Gold: Wear Bison gold and cheer on the NDSU in the first game at Dacotah Field of the year. There is a team poster giveaway and an autograph session with the team following the game.

Home Sweet Home
The Bison were 6-1-2 at Dacotah Field last season, including a perfect 4-0-0 in Summit League play. NDSU outscored the opposition 19-8 at home, including four cleansheets.
The .778 win percentage was the Best for NDSU at home since also going .778 in 2017. The 2024 home campaign is the second best overall at Dacotah Field, only behind a 6-1-0 (.857) season in 2015.
The Bison are undefeated at home in league play in the last two seasons, going 5-0-3 in the eight games. Overall, NDSU is 10-3-6 at home since the beginning of the 2023 season.
NDSU is 57-30-11 (.638) all-time at Dacotah Field since moving in ahead of the 2013 season.
Carkhuff, Zacher Score in Trip West
The Bison fell to Idaho State and Weber State in a trip west during the second week of the season. NDSU dropped both games by 3-1 score lines, falling behind 0-2 and unable to rebound despite cutting the deficit to 2-1 in both games.
Mikayla Carkhuff scored her first collegiate goal in the 67th minute at Idaho State with a strike into the top right corner from about 35 yards out. Tyreese Zacher scored at Weber State in similar fashion, finding some open space about 25 yards out and glancing a shot in off the bottom of the crossbar.
Looking Ahead
North Dakota State will remain at home and welcome in local and former Division II rival Minnesota State-Moorhead on Sunday August 31, as the Bison will also celebrate senior day following the game. Kickoff between the Bison and Dragons is set for 1 p.m. at Dacotah Field.
