Vikings’ Star Justin Jefferson is a Strong Contender to Make the Cover of Madden 26
Justin Jefferson, who plays as the wide receiver, is without a doubt the Minnesota Vikings’ face of the franchise, even with JJ McCarthy, who has not yet played a game in the NFL. Jefferson, though not his best season, had a strong outing in the 2024-25 season as he posted 1533 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns, on 103 catches. The Vikings were 14-3 last season, but were ultimately knocked off the playoffs after the wildcard round, after suffering defeat from the hands of the L.A. Rams. Jefferson is not only a star receiver, but is also one of the most famous NFL athletes across the planet, as we have seen him shine with his personality and charisma off the field as well.
Previously, many believe that Justin Jefferson was snubbed from gracing the cover of Madden 24, as he had his career-best season, recording 1809 receiving yards, 128 receptions, and 8 receiving touchdowns. However, his ultimately lost out to Bills’ quarterback, Josh Allen, who was on the cover of Madden 24.
This season, we believe that Jefferson has a chance, but may again lose out to Eagles’ Saquon Barkley, who had an historic season last year, as he posted over 2000 plus yards, and he also went on to win the Super Bowl against the Chiefs in dominating fashion.
