The University of Minnesota women’s soccer team (4-1-0, 0-0-0 B1G) handed Brown University (3-1-0, 0-0-0 Ivy League) its first loss of the season Sunday on the road, 2-0.
Goalkeeper Sarah Martin recorded her third shutout of the year, making eight saves for the clean sheet. Senior forward Freya Jupp scored both goals for the Golden Gophers, with Taylor Heimerl assisting on the first.
