NDSU Women’s Basketball Adds Martinez-Stewart to Signing Class

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State women’s basketball head coach Jory Collins has announced the addition of Audrey Martinez-Stewart to the 2025 signing class.

Martinez-Stewart joins the Bison after two seasons at Missouri-St. Louis.

“We’re excited to add Audrey to our team for her fifth year,” said Collins. “She brings tons of experience and maturity to our guard group. She had great success at both junior college and the Division II level. I’m excited to see how she can impact our team.”

Martinez-Stewart started all 57 games she appeared in over two seasons for the Tritons and averaged 6.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. She reached double figures in scoring 15 times, including 10 times in the 2023-24 season. Martinez-Stewart led the team each of the last two seasons in assists and totaled 172 over two seasons.

Prior to Missouri-St. Louis, Martinez-Stewart played two seasons at Northern Iowa Area Community College and averaged 10.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game in her sophomore season. She was named to the 2022-23 All-NJCAA Region XI First Team and was tabbed the NJCAA Region XI Defensive Player of the Year.

Martinez-Stewart joins Lily Niebuhr, Jocelyn Schiller, Karrington Asp, Sophie Hawkinson and McKenna Johnson in the 2025 signing class.

NDSU will open the 2025-26 season at Northern Iowa on Nov. 3.
