The University of Minnesota women’s soccer team (1-1-0, 0-0-0 Big Ten) defeated St. Thomas (1-1-0, 0-0-0 Summit League) 3-0 on Sunday evening in front of 794 fans at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.
The Golden Gophers were led by Paige Kalal, who scored a career-high two goals. Davy Mokelke added her first career goal. Goalkeeper Sarah Martin earned the shutout win, grabbing five saves.
