CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The North Dakota State women’s golf team earned six Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar selections, the organization announced on Monday.
Elise Hoven, Cora Larson, Hannah Dunk, Madi Hicks, Norah Roberts and Avery Bartels were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team.
Hoven highlighted the group picking up the honor for the fourth time in her career, while Dunk and Bartels were named to the list for the first time. Under head coach Matt Johnson, the Bison have had at least two student-athletes named to the team each of the last 16 seasons.
To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the team’s season and have played in 50% of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team’s conference championship.
