FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University track & field teams will host the NDSU Tune-Up this Friday, May 9, at the Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex on campus.
The meet will be NDSU’s final competition before traveling to Vermillion, S.D., for the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 15-17.
Friday’s action starts with the men’s hammer throw at 11 a.m., the javelin at 12 p.m., and the long jump and pole vault at 1 p.m. Running events will begin with the 3000m steeplechase at 1:30 p.m.
NDSU will honor 23 members of its senior class with a recognition ceremony at approximately 4 p.m. between the shuttle hurdle relay and 5,000m run.
The Bison men and women have both won 15 Summit League outdoor team titles in 16 seasons since joining the league in 2008.
