NDSU Women’s Basketball to Face Nebraska at Sanford Pentagon

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota State women’s basketball team will face Nebraska at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Sunday, Nov. 16.

“We’re very excited to play a terrific Nebraska team in an awesome venue,” said head coach Jory Collins. “The Pentagon has become a staple in early season college basketball. We’re looking forward to the challenge and opportunity.”

It will mark the fourth time NDSU will play at the Sanford Pentagon after the Bison opened the 2023-24 season against then-ranked No. 23/22 Creighton. NDSU also played in two games in the 2020-21 Summit League Tournament at the Sanford Pentagon.

The contest will be the first all-time meeting between the Bison and Huskers.

NDSU finished the 2024-25 season with a 21-12 overall record and advanced to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) Great 8 round for the first time in program history. The Bison also posted their second straight 20-win season for the first time since 2002-05.

Ticket information will be announced at a later date and the full Sanford Sports release can be viewed here.
