FARGO, N.D. — The North Dakota State University men’s track & field team has two event groups ranked among the Top 10 in the latest outdoor event squad rankings released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) this week.
The event squad rankings rank every Division I team within each single event, averaging the best performances from the top four athletes at each school in each event.
The Bison men are No. 3 nationally in the triple jump and No. 10 in the 110m hurdles in the latest rankings.
NDSU’s Adam Dugger, Reece Grosserode, Carlton Mukurazita and Lorenzo Andrews combine for an average triple jump mark of 48-9 (14.86m).
In the 110m hurdles, Brooks Turner, Blake Nyenati, Brock Johnsen and Trey Heinrich are 10th-best in the country with an average time of 14.12.
The Bison jumps crew is directed by assistant coach Clayton Pritchard, while the hurdlers are coached by assistant Reece Vega.
