MESA, Ariz. – North Dakota State men’s golf’s Rylin Petry has been named the 2025 Summit League Men’s Golf Scholar of the Championship, the league office announced on Sunday morning just ahead of the start of the 2025 Summit League Championship at Longbow Golf Course.
Petry boasts a 3.938 grade-point average in Finance with a minor in Agribusiness. The junior has played in every round of the season for the Bison and leads the team in scoring average. Petry was named to the All-Summit League First Team on Friday.
The Scholar of the Championship award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average participating at each of the Summit League’s 19 championships. Each institution that is participating in a Summit League championship is eligible to submit one nominee for the Scholar of the Championship award.
