NDSU Men’s Golf’s Petry, Simonich Named All-Summit League

MESA, Ariz. – North Dakota State men’s golfers Rylin Petry and Ian Simonich picked up All-Summit League accolades on Friday, announced the league office ahead of the 2025 Summit League Championship at the Longbow Golf Course. Petry was named to the All-Summit League First Team. Simonich was selected to the All-Summit League Second Team.
 
Petry scooped up his first All-Summit League honor with a first team selection. In his second season with the Bison, Petry led NDSU with a 72.97 scoring average in 30 rounds during the regular season. He recorded four top 10 finishes and 17 rounds of par or better on the season, including a low of 67. Petry also led the Bison with a .786 win percentage throughout the season.
 
Simonich received an All-Summit League Second Team selection for the second-straight season. The senior was second on the Bison with a 73.17 scoring average in 30 rounds during the regular season. Simonich recorded three top 10 finishes, including a win at the Tommie Invitational. He posted 13 rounds of par or better on the season, including a low of 68, and recorded a .770 win percentage during the season.
 
Petry, Simonich and NDSU men’s golf will be back in action this weekend, when the Bison compete at the Summit League Championship, beginning with Sunday’s first round.
