GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Las Vegas Raiders drafted North Dakota State’s Cam Miller with the 215th overall pick in the sixth round of the NFL Draft at Lambeau Field on Saturday, April 26.
Miller, the 18th draft pick of North Dakota State’s Division I era, is the fourth Bison quarterback drafted in the past 10 years following Carson Wentz (2016), Easton Stick (2019) and Trey Lance (2021).
Coupled with the Seattle Seahawks’ first-round selection of NDSU offensive lineman Grey Zabel, this is the fourth time in the past five years North Dakota State has had multiple NFL draft picks.
Miller was a two-time Walter Payton Award finalist and had the third most wins by a quarterback in FCS history. He led the Bison to a 45-11 record and two national championships in 2021 and 2024 while making 54 consecutive starts over his final four seasons.
Miller broke NDSU career records for total offense yards (11,998), pass completion percentage (.694), passing completions (759) and yards (9,721) and finished second in passing attempts (1,094) and touchdowns (81).
A two-time team captain and FCS All-American, Miller was the 2024 Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
