FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men’s basketball program added transfer Max Majerle of Scottsdale, Ariz., to its 2025 recruiting class, head coach David Richman announced Thursday.
Majerle (pronounced Marley) is a 6-foot-4 guard who played one season at Central Michigan in 2022-23 and one season at Pima Community College in 2024-25. He sat out the 2023-24 season as a medical redshirt while at Central Michigan.
“We are thrilled to be able to add a player with the character and skill of Max,” said Richman. “Coming off a tremendous season at Pima Community College, Max will bring a winning mentality to our Bison Family that will be felt the day he steps on campus.”
Majerle averaged 4.0 points and 2.7 rebounds as a freshman at Central Michigan. This past season at Pima CC, he averaged 13.3 points, 3.0 assists and 1.9 steals as the Aztecs went 35-1 and finished third at the national tournament. Majerle drained 72 three-pointers at a 38-percent clip.
