LAS VEGAS – The North Dakota State men’s track & field team completed the final day of the UNLV Rebel Elite meet on Saturday, with junior Sam Roller capping the meet with a career-best performance in the javelin.
Roller (Thompson, N.D.) threw 219-7 (66.93m) for a new personal-best mark that ranks him 11th in NDSU history. He claimed runner-up honors for the meet.
Redshirt freshman Adam Dugger posted an outdoor personal-best of 49-06.50 (15.10m) in the triple jump to rank seventh-best in NDSU history. Freshman Reece Grosserode placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 49-03.50 (15.02m), and sophomore Carlton Mukurazita took fifth at 48-08.00 (14.83m).
NDSU senior Brock Johnsen posted the second-fastest 110m hurdles time of his career, running 14.18 for fourth place in the meet.
Jacob Van Dusseldorp placed fifth in the pole vault, clearing 16-06.50 (5.04m). Andrew Berg cleared 6-06.75 (2.00m) in the high jump to take fifth place.
Jayden Murdock posted a 200m dash personal-best of 21.72, and Brooks Turner ran a PR of 21.81.
Murdock (10.68) and Jayden Williams (10.70) led the Bison men in the 100m dash.
At the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in San Francisco, Ethan Moe ran the second-fastest 800m of his career in 1:50.28. He currently ranks eighth in NDSU outdoor history. Jonah Dafoe ran an outdoor 800m personal-best of 1:53.90.
The Bison are scheduled to compete at home on Friday, Apr. 11.
