I played with the only drafted Gopher QB. I brought in the play. Coach called every play; the QB knew who he was going to throw to before the play started. No reading the defense–' just executing the designated play.
I caught 3 first downs, for 37 yards total. The next year I played Db. I also punted. My longest was to a Heisman winner–' it was 62 yards in the air from the line of scrimmage.
