FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women’s basketball team has earned a first round bye in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT), the organization announced on Monday afternoon.
The Bison (19-11) earned a first round bye for the second straight season and will face the winner of the Pacific and New Mexico State matchup. The date, time and location will be announced following round one. Teams with first-round byes are not guaranteed to play at home in round two.
