SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Senior right-handed pitcher Logan Knight has been named the Kwik Star Summit League Baseball Peak Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Knight helped the Bison (4-14, 2-1 Summit) start Summit League play with a series win at Oral Roberts. He posted his first career complete game shutout to help lift NDSU to a 3-0 win on Saturday. Knight tossed a season-best seven strikeouts across a career-high 9.0 innings with no walks. It marked the first complete game shutout in a nine-inning game for a Bison pitcher since Cade Feeney accomplished the feat against Western Illinois on April 9, 2021.
It marks the first time Knight has won the award this season and second time of his career.
