FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State Women’s golf team returns to action in the spring season with the Jackrabbit Invitational on March 10-11, hosted at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
Tournament Schedule
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played with the first 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Both days will tee off with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. PT/10 a.m. CT.
The Field
The Jackrabbit Invitational will be hosted by South Dakota State and will feature 16 teams in the event. Along with the Bison, the field will contain UNLV, Western Illinois, St. Thomas, Cal State Northridge, Omaha, Creighton, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Arkansas-Little Rock, Northern Iowa, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical, North Dakota, Bucknell, Dakota Wesleyan, and Lehigh.

The Course
Located in Boulder City, Nevada, the Boulder Creek Golf Club has 27 holes and the Jackrabbit Invitational will be hosted on the Desert Hawk and Coyote Run nine-hole courses. The course sits a half hour outside of downtown Las Vegas and was designed by Mark Rathert and opened in 2003. Boulder Creek is considered a modern, resort-style course within a natural desert landscape.
Bison at the Jackrabbit Invitational
The Bison return to the Spring Jackrabbit Invitational for the first time since 2020, where they placed sixth out of 14 teams. This will be NDSU’s 10th appearance at the tournament, with their first being in 2010.
Bison Competing
NDSU will take six golfers to the Jackrabbit Invitational. The Bison competing will be Elise Hoven, Madi Hicks, Norah Roberts, Cora Larson, Hannah Dunk, and Avery Bartels.
Last Time Out
The Bison started off the spring semester at the Mountain Classic Match Play in mid-February. NDSU picked up wins against Wyoming and Portland State, with Lily Vincelli, Cora Larson, and Jo Baranczyk also posting individual match-play wins.
Looking Ahead
The Bison will roll straight into the Red Rocks Invitational on March 14-16. The event will be hosted by Northern Arizona University and held at Oakcreek Golf Course in Sedona, Arizona.
