Four Bison Men Earn Summit League Honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League announced its awards for the 2024-25 men’s basketball season on Tuesday afternoon, and four North Dakota State players were honored.
 
Jacksen Moni was named to the All-Summit League first team, Jacari White was selected to the All-Summit League second team, and Masen Miller earned honorable mention status.
 
Junior Tajavis Miller was voted the league’s Sixth Man of the Year.
 
Moni was the league leader in scoring with 22.3 points per game in conference play, and he ranks 10th nationally in scoring this season. He was the only player to rank in the league’s top six for points, rebounds, assists and field goal percentage. Moni ranked third in the league for assists per game (3.5) and scored 23-plus points in nine league games.
 
Moni also claimed a spot on the All-Newcomer Team.
 
White ranks 30th in the nation with 88 three-pointers made this season, and he finished the conference season fifth in The Summit League with 17.7 points per game. He had two games with 30-plus points in league play, and also posted single-game highs of nine rebounds, eight assists, and four steals. White was No. 3 in the league with 88-percent shooting at the free throw line.
 
Masen Miller currently stands at No. 3 in the NCAA for three-point shooting at 45.7 percent this season. He led The Summit League with 3.1 made three-pointers per game and 49 percent shooting from beyond the arc, making multiple threes in all but two league games. Miller ranked third in the league in minutes played.
 
Tajavis Miller was fourth on NDSU with 11.3 points per game in league play. He shot 53 percent and posted 11 league games with double-figure scoring. Miller led the Bison in offensive rebounds and was No. 11 in the league in overall rebounding.
 
Miller joins Mike Felt (2013), Dexter Werner (2015, 2017) and Grant Nelson (2021) as Bison winners of the Summit League Sixth Man of the Year.
 
The No. 4 seed Bison will play No. 5 seed South Dakota in the quarterfinals of the Summit League Tournament on Friday at 6 p.m. in Sioux Falls.
