The Minnesota Golden Gophers (8-9, 0-0 B1G) rallied to score four in the seventh inning and walked it off on sophomore Jessa Snippes’ four-run home run off of sophomore Madilyn Reeves to pick up the 9-6 victory over the Miami (OH) RedHawks (5-13, 0-0 MAC) Saturday.
Junior Presley Hosick (4-3) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Minnesota. The right-hander went 0.1 shutout innings while giving up one hit. Junior Sydney Schwartz also made an impact in the circle for the Gophers, starting the ballgame and throwing six innings, giving up five runs, four earned, on four hits, with three walks and eight strikeouts.
