Moe’s 3000m Headlines First Day of Bison Open


FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University men’s track & field team opened competition with the first day of the Bison Open on Friday, and sophomore Ethan Moe paced the Bison with one of the top 3000m times in school history.
 
Moe (Williston, N.D.) won the 3000m with a time of 8:18.40 to rank fifth-fastest in NDSU history. Hunter Klimek took second in 8:27.08, Jacob Knodle was third in 8:29.88, and Tyson Mahar finished fourth in 8:31.24 for the Bison.
 
NDSU sophomore Gabe Miles claimed the 300m dash title in 34.64.
 
Freshman Jeran McNichols ran 21.98 to place third in the 200m dash – the fastest time by a Bison this season.
 
Competition will continue Saturday at the Bison Open.
