Rogowski’s 400m Dash Highlights Bison Women at Mizzou Meet


COLUMBIA, Mo. – The North Dakota State women’s track & field team concluded competition at Missouri’s Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational on Saturday, with the Bison women turning in strong performances in the 400m dash to highlight the day.
 
Bison sophomore Reese Rogowski ran a personal-best 55.21 in the 400m dash for third place in the meet. She now ranks 10th on the NDSU all-time indoor list.
 
Allie Niska clocked an indoor 400m PR of 55.50 to place fifth, and Kaci Cooper ran a personal-best 56.04 for seventh.
 
Cooper, Elise Wisnewski, Riika Tirkkonen and Rogowski ran 3:43.80 for third place in the 4x400m relay, just missing a spot in the NDSU all-time indoor Top 10.
 
NDSU’s Sydney Arndt ran 8.64 in the 60m hurdles for third place in the meet. Marvelous Onwualo placed seventh in 8.79.
 
Anika Larson took fourth place in the 60m dash with a time of 7.50.
 
Sophomore Arienne Birch cleared 5-7 (1.70m) in the high jump to tie for fifth place.
 
Adison Kapitzke threw 48-05.25 (14.76m) in the shot put to place eighth in the meet – the second-best mark of her career.
 
Freshman Nyariek Kur finished eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 39-08.50 (12.10m).
 
At the UND Open in Grand Forks, sophomore Adison Sagaser cleared an indoor personal-best of 5-03.00 (1.60m) in the high jump.
