COLUMBIA, Mo. – The North Dakota State men’s track & field team competed on the opening day of the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational hosted by Missouri on Friday.
Sophomore Jayden Williams was the top Bison in the long jump, taking fifth place with a personal-best jump of 23-10.25 (7.27m).
Jarod White cleared 16-09.50 (5.12m) in the pole vault for sixth place.
Freshman Tyler Milkes clocked an indoor 200m personal-best of 22.04 for eighth place in the meet. Jeran McNichols ran 22.17 for 12th place.
Sophomore thrower Jack Packer registered another personal-best mark in the weight throw, throwing 58-11.25 (17.96m).
Competing unattached, NDSU’s Zach McGlynn leads the heptathlon with 3,325 points after Day 1. Bryce Enerson stands in seventh place with 2,822 points.
Competition will continue Saturday at Mizzou.
