The Games: The North Dakota State men’s basketball team will host South Dakota State on Thursday, Jan. 30, before traveling to St. Paul, Minn., this weekend to play at St. Thomas on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Where to Watch: Thursday’s home game will be broadcast on WDAY Xtra locally and available to subscribers of the Summit League Network through the Midco Sports Plus app. Sunday’s contest at St. Thomas will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Radio: Sam Neidermann will call both games on 107.9 The Fox and Bison 1660, with Dexter Werner (analyst) joining him for Thursday’s home game. Broadcasts can also be streamed on the NDSU Athletics app, as well as at GoBison.com/AllAccess for free.
Against South Dakota State: Thursday will be the 237th meeting all-time between North Dakota State and South Dakota State, with the Bison leading the series 122-114. The road team won both meetings last season, with NDSU winning 74-73 in overtime in Brookings on Feb. 1, and the Jackrabbits winning 78-61 in Fargo on Mar. 2.
Against St. Thomas: Sunday will be the 27th meeting all-time between the Bison and Tommies, with NDSU leading the series 14-12. NDSU is 4-4 against St. Thomas since the Tommies joined The Summit League, following the 89-85 victory by UST on Jan. 2 in Fargo.
Long Range Attack: The Bison rank second in the country with 12.3 three-pointers made per game. NDSU is also second nationally in three-point percentage at 40.5 percent this season.
High Efficiency: The Bison are ranked second nationally in effective field goal percentage at 59.3 percent, according to KenPom.com.
Racking ’em Up: NDSU’s 270 three-pointers made this season already stands at No. 5 on the school’s all-time list for threes in a season. In just 22 games, the Bison have already surpassed the 252 three-pointers made (in 32 games) last year.

Closing In On 1,000: Fifth-year senior Masen Miller needs 19 points to reach 1,000 points for his career. He scored 670 points in two seasons at Division II Truman State from 2020-22, then added 85 points in two seasons at Indiana State from 2022-24.
National Leaderboard: Masen Miller ranks 13th in Division I this season for three-point percentage at 44.0 percent. Jacksen Moni ranks 15th in the nation for scoring at 19.9 points per game.
Three Double-Doubles: Three different Bison have recorded double-doubles in Summit League play: Tajavis Miller (14 points, 10 rebounds) vs. Omaha on Jan. 4; Noah Feddersen (16 points, 11 rebounds) at South Dakota on Jan. 18; and Jacksen Moni (24 points, 10 rebounds) vs. North Dakota on Jan. 25.
Moni in The Summit: Jacksen Moni ranks second in The Summit League in scoring (22.4 ppg) and assists (4.3 apg) in league play. He also stands sixth in the league in field goal percentage and 10th in rebounding.
The Past Two Months: NDSU is 13-2 since Nov. 27.
6-10 Guy Leads in Assists: Jacksen Moni led The Summit League with 3.8 assists per game in non-conference play. He is one of only three players in the nation 6-10 or taller to average more than four assists per game this season, joining Coleman Hawkins of Kansas State and Robbie Avila of Saint Louis.
The Bombs Away Bison™: NDSU is attempting three-pointers at the highest rate in Division I this season. According to KenPom, 55.6 percent of NDSU’s shots attempted this year have been three-pointers – the highest percentage in the nation.
