The Minnesota Vikings put together a season unlike anyone projected. Kevin O’Connell coached his team to 14 wins and a playoff berth. They flirted with the top seed in the NFC. It all started back in training camp with Justin Jefferson cementing his situation with the franchise.
There was plenty of discourse regarding Jefferson’s future. While other organizations called on the superstar, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was always determined to pay his wideout. The LSU product went about it the right way and continued to back it up this year.
Accolades rack up for Justin Jefferson’s 2024 Vikings season
You often hear of players performing in the season that takes place prior to a new contract. The follow up to a payday should be scrutinized just as much. There’s no denying that Minnesota doesn’t win 14 games without Justin Jefferson this season. He picked up another honor in acknowledgment of that.

Named a first-team All-Pro for the second time in his five-year career, Jefferson has been named to the Pro Football Writers All-NFL Team. Not coincidentally, his selection also placed him on the All-NFC Team.
The All-NFL Team honors have been voted on since 1966 with conference selections beginning in 1992. Jefferson earned his second career selection, joining his standout 2022 season. Ja’Marr Chase joined him as the other wide receiver to be voted in.
