Report: Seattle Seahawks request to interview Vikings assistant Grant Udinski

With more than a week since the Seattle Seahawks fired offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb following a lackluster on field performance by the offense in 2024, the Hawks have been linked to another name regarding their open offensive coordinator spot.

Most fans are unlikely to be familiar with Minnesota Vikings assistant quarterbacks coach and head of special project Grant Udinski. Udinski’s career as an NFL assistant stretches back just five seasons, however, the impression he has made on those around the league is not small.

Whether or not that will translate into success as an offensive coordinator at some point in the future, whether with the Seahawks in 2025 or another team further down the road, there appears little doubt from those around him that at some point he will move up as an assistant.

However, for now, the question is whether or not Seattle feels he might be the answer to the question of who should be in charge of the offense in 2024, a question Mike Macdonald and John Schneider can discuss after they interview Udinski.
