EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings (14-3) on Saturday ruled outside linebacker Pat Jones II out for Monday’s game against the Rams (10-7) in the Wild Card Round of the NFC Playoffs.
The game will be hosted in Arizona because of wildfires in the Los Angeles area, the NFL announced Thursday.
Minnesota listed running back Cam Akers (illness) and Taki Taimani (ankle) as questionable. Akers was added to the injury report Saturday. Taimani is in his 21-day evaluation window as he attempts to return from Injured Reserve.
The other players on Minnesota’s report because of injury did not receive game status designations.
Running backs Aaron Jones, Sr. (quadriceps) and Ty Chandler (illness), quarterback Sam Darnold (quadriceps), cornerback Fabian Moreau (hip) and tight end Josh Oliver (wrist) are expected to be available.
