DENVER – The North Dakota State men’s basketball team locked down defensively to post a 69-50 win over Denver inside Hamilton Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The Bison improved to 13-6 overall and 2-2 in The Summit League.
The Bison never trailed in the game.
NDSU opened up a 19-point lead in the first half, going up 29-10 five minutes before halftime. The Bison led 35-19 at the half, and pushed the margin to as many as 21 points in the second half.
Senior Jacksen Moni led the Bison in scoring with 15 points. Sophomore Noah Feddersen posted 14 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Junior Tajavis Miller finished with 13 points and eight boards.
The Bison made 10-of-24 from three-point range (42 percent) and limited the Pioneers to 2-for-21 from beyond the arc. NDSU held Denver to 33-percent shooting overall in the contest.
The Bison will return home to host Kansas City on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m.
