Gophers look solid. Well coached. All 5 starters contribute. Hope they keep winning.
Fun venue versus the mens team. Plus, they can shoot free throws!! 90% 😅
I'm only concerned about so many key injuries. But much better depth this year. Can they sustain against the top teams? Hope so.
Hopefully their performance against Nebraska last month is not indicative of how they will match up with better teams going forward. Nebraska has been the only team on their schedule to date that I would categorize as a top 50 and the Gophers got blown out. The very soft Non conference schedule did not prepare them very well for the Big Ten and gave a false impression of the actual strength of the Gopher team. They continue to improve but the upcoming schedule starting with Maryland will show us more of who this team is than the games they have recently played. If the stay within 15 -20 points of Maryland (USC, UCLA and Mich) that will show me more than beating the bottom teams in the league. They have too much talent to not at least be competitive with the better programs. MN girls HS basketball is some of the very best in the country and the primary feeder for this program.
Golden Gophers on the rise!!💛💛💛💛💛
Can the coach run two teams?
