Running back Kenneth Walker III, who missed the previous two games with a calf injury, took part in Wednesday’s walkthrough and will be ramping up his workload on Thursday.
“We’re optimistic,” Macdonald said. “We’ll see about how many reps today, but he did walkthrough. We’ll probably ramp it up a little bit more tomorrow.”
In addition to losing Smith, the Seahawks also finished Sunday’s game without starting center Olu Oluwatimi, who exited with what Macdonald called a knee and quadriceps injury. He too appears to have escaped serious injury.
“Olu, might not see him today in full capacity, but should be out there tomorrow rocking and rolling,” Macdonald said.
