Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: December 14th, 2024
1) The Vikings Quietly Re-Signed an Old Friend: A move to fortify the offensive line depth. For the most part, the o-line has been fairly steady this season. Losing Christian Darrisaw is a major, major loss but the GM did a nice job when bringing in Cam Robinson. And then there was the Ed Ingram/Dalton Risner swap. Otherwise, pretty quiet up front.

2) Ex-Viking Admits Immaturity, Wants Back in NFL: Cameron Dantzler has some ability. One has to assume that he’ll get another shot before it’s all said and done. He was drafted in the 3rd, has good size, and is a willing tackler. Someone should give him a shot.
3) Vikings Final Injury Report is a Monster: The Vikings have been through no shortage of injury turmoil in 2024. Notably, Stephon Gilmore couldn’t go in the Week 14 game over the Falcons. Minnesota still found a way to win and the hope is that the roster grows healthier in the coming weeks.

4) Thursday’s Football Game is Suddenly Important for Vikings: In the end, the TNF game didn’t go in Minnesota’s direction. That’s alright. Minnesota should simply be focusing on taking care of business on their own end of things. Beat the Bears and get into the postseason.
5) Parker Romo Signs with New Team: He proved to be reliable in his four-games of work with the Vikings. Good chance he gets another shot to earn a K1 job once the offseason arrives. Good chance he wins the competition and becomes a team’s kicking solution in 2025.
